Prepaid Parking Card Terms and Conditions

1 – General Provisions

The personalised prepaid parking card is a stored-value card that can be reloaded at automatic payment machines (using cash and/or bank card) or online (by bank card) via your customer account.

Card purchase price: €18 (non-refundable).

Parking fees are deducted in accordance with the tariff schedule applicable to the relevant car park.

Any unused credit remaining on the card is non-refundable.

Top up at automatic payment machines:

  • By bank card: amount equivalent to the initial balance
  • By cash: amount of your choice

Online top-up via your customer account:

  • By bank card: select the amount you wish to top up

In the event of loss or theft, the card may be blocked at the cardholder’s request.

  • Replacement card: €18
  • The remaining balance will be transferred to the new card within 24 hours.
  • Any amounts deducted before the card is blocked remain the responsibility of the cardholder.
  • No refund will be issued.

2 – How the Card Works

Using the Card
At the entrance: hold your prepaid parking card approximately 5 cm from the terminal reader (your remaining balance will be displayed).
At the exit: hold your prepaid parking card approximately 5 cm from the terminal reader (the amount deducted will be displayed).

Defective Card
If the prepaid parking card has not been damaged by the user, Régie Parcs d’Azur will replace it free of charge and transfer the remaining balance to the replacement card.

Entry Issue

  • Take a standard parking ticket when entering the car park.
  • Before leaving, go to an automatic payment machine.
  • Insert the parking ticket (the amount due will be displayed).
  • Insert your prepaid parking card.
  • Collect the validated parking ticket to use at the exit (remember to remove your prepaid parking card first).

Insufficient Balance at Exit
Pay the outstanding amount at an automatic payment machine (cash or bank card).

You may then top up your prepaid parking card at the payment machine:

  • Cash: amount of your choice
  • Bank card: amount equivalent to the initial balance
